The 911 Carrera S comes fitted with the rear mounted 3.8 litre flat six engine that produces 385bhp & propels the rear wheel drive sportscar to 60mph in under 4.4 seconds & on to a 186mph top speed. The 997 generation 2 cars do not suffer all of the problems of early 997 generation 1 cars, including IMS bearing failures, RMS leaks & Borescoring, all of these issues were eradicated by Porsche when they designed the all-new direct fuel injection DFI 911 engines for the generation 2 997s.
