Porsche 935 K3
Details
This 935 started life in Australia. The car was built to Kremer K3 specification by John Sheppard, the
famous Australian race engineer and team manager behind the legendary Holden Dealer Team. The
owner, John Pollard, wanted to build a competive car for the newly formed Thundersports Series.
After it’s competition life in Australia, the car ended up being imported to the UK. It remained in storage
for a prolonged period and required a full restoration to return it to race-ready condition. At this point, it
was purchased by renowned Porsche collector and restorer Chris Goodwin.
A back-to-bare-shell rebuild followed, undertaken by Chris and highly experienced Porsche engineer
Dave Lee. The car you now see is the product of many months of meticulous work, with everything
rebuilt to exacting standards and hundreds of improvements made.
Recently, the car was on display at Megaphonics 26, where we demonstrated it running.
